If you love Cuban food, I highly recommend this hidden gem! The food here is so good. I recommend their Cafe con leche, Croquetas, Empanadas and Sandwich Cubano.
First time stopping by, the service was exceptional nice & caring..the yuca rellena, alcapurria, guava drink had the jibarrito 10/10 my new favorite spot. Must try!
My food was good, very good. I ate staple foods I order at Cuban restaurants so I can compare. This food I'd definitely top notch. It's a cozy place with the servers easily available to assist you with your orders. I tried some new sides for me and really enjoyed them. This restaurant is the real deal for Cuban food.
It was my first time at this hidden gem and as soon as opened the door the aroma of fresh baked bread or perhaps the pressing of Cuban sandwiches welcomed me to this cozy and friendly place. I often try empanadas but I noticed something new that I never had before which was alcapurria, it was yummy but I still favor empanadas . I also had the oxtail entree accompanied with congri and maduros and OMG it was the best ever Cuban oxtail dish I’ve had it was full of flavor and the meat literally fell off the bone just absolutely delicious I also added their hot red sauce mixed with the white garlic sauce that they offer on their tables but truly the dish doesn’t lack flavor. Since this restaurant is not walking distance I added to my bill the pork stew, guava pastry, coconut flan and just out of curiosity given that I was in a Cuban restaurant the Chinese fried rice no doubt all it’s going to be as delicious as my meal. As I was paying my bill my waitress Jackie surprised me by buying me a cafe con leche out of gratitude for being my first time which was a sweet gesture. It was a creamy, silky sweet treat that I enjoyed on my way out. If y’all haven’t noticed I highly recommend this hidden jewel and great value to our city. Enjoy y’all !!
The worst of what we ate here was a 5 out of 5 so what else is there to say? We had Carne Fritas with Arroz Con Gandules, Steak Jibaritos, and Yuca Fritas. The sauces here are to die for - garlic cream sauce, garlic oil for the Yuca Fritas, and mayo/ketchup combo. Bottles of water accompanied by refrigerated metal cups adds that extra oomph to make sure you know they care and want to see you back. Highly recommended!
The food here is delicious! My go-to's are the steak sandwich and the chicken fricase, while my partner loves the chicken sandwich and the pollo a la plancha. We've been here multiple times and have never been disappointed. This is one of our favorite go-to spots. Give it a try! You won't be disappointed! Oh, and the cafe cob leche is a MUST!
Got a steak sandwich. 10/10 steak is tender and juicy. The garlic sauce they give on the side compliments it so well. I definitely will be returning.
Hidden neighborhood gem! I love this place! My husband and I went here on a whim and so glad we did! The ropa vieja is delicious! Steak sandwich is delicious as well! We will continue to go here since we live close by!
